Join us for FOUR DAYS of fantastic tango milongas, maestro masterclasses and live music in Nottingham and Derby!

Three organisers – Two to Tango, Derby Tango and Milonga Media Luz have joined forces to bring you an Easter Marathon of tango delights to suit all levels and dancers.

Based across three venues, in Spondon, Derby; a few miles up the A52 at Beeston, Nottingham; and south Nottingham close to the A52 at the village of Plumtree, there will be four milongas, two with alternative music, two traditional only, and one with live music from Tango Calor, who have performed at milongas and festivals and venues around the country.

Good Friday Friday 7 April 8pm to 11.30pm

Two to Tango milonga at Spondon Village Hall, Sitwell St, Spondon, Derby DE21 7FG with music from DJ Andy. Music: a mix of alternative and traditional in tandas. Entry £10. Free parking in car park behind the hall.

Easter Saturday Saturday 8 April 7.30pm to 11.30pm

Milonga Media Luz with Live Music from Tango Calor Trio and traditional music DJ sets from DJ Lisa at Burnside Hall, Church Hill, Plumtree NG12 5ND. Free on street parking near the hall. See Facebook event

Easter Sunday Sunday 9 April 3.30pm to 9pm

Derby Tango workshop and practilonga at Spondon Village Hall, Sitwell St, Spondon, Derby DE21 7FG Entry £5. Free parking in car park behind the hall.
Workshop with Emilia Andrada is from 4pm to 5pm and practilonga from 5pm to 9pm with two hours of traditional with DJ Su from 5pm to 7pm and two hours of alternative with DJ Andy from 7pm to 9pm.

Easter Monday Monday 10 April, 2pm to 7pm

Milonga Media Luz Matinee at Beeston Parish Church. Entry lesson £10, milonga £14; both £20.
The lesson (advanced couples) is with Diego Ledesma and Giusy Santoro from 2pm to 3pm (private lesson available from 12.45pm to 1.45pm)
Milonga from 3pm to 7pm – traditional music milonga with DJ Andy Adamson. There will be a home cooked buffet.
